About Advait

I’m someone who enjoys sketching things on paper, or drafting an outline before turning it into something people can actually use. I've always had a thing for optimising how I spend time. When I'm locked in on a project, I focus on finding the most productive way to get it done, whether it's through tools, or just staying in the zone till the job's finished.

Three things to know about me

  • • I'm a Formula 1 enthusiast. Race weekends are my reset button and I love the element of strategy and teamwork that comes into play in this multi-billion dollar sports industry.
  • • I love working across disciplines and combining multiple passions together. My favourite projects come from taking pieces from different places like tech or music and blending them into something new.
  • • I'm a visual thinker. Most of my ideas start as messy squiggly lines or doodles before becoming fully-fledged projects, or even my coursework assignments for that matter.

How I work best

  • • Headphones on playing deep focus music with 15 minute breaks every hour and a half, unless I feel like it would break my flow.
  • • Side doodles and sketches help me connect the dots and understand my workflow from every perspective.
  • • New campus spots keep me motivated to study. During midterm season, you'll never catch me at home.

  • • Analysing Formula 1 performance data, to create a race predictor, with which users can adjust race conditions.
  • • Mapping domains (health, education, law) for smarter search and reasoning using neo.4j for knowledge graphs.

What’s next

  • • Gaining hands-on industry experience where I can contribute to projects while learning how ideas are scaled in practice.
  • • Getting closer to hardware by learning more with C and memory-efficient code.
  • • Designing ways for AI tools to complement human decsion-making.
  • • Exploring cloud and distributing systems to understand how large-scale systems can handle speed and reliability.
